Scaredy Cat
The holidays are over, so Scaredy Cat, JJ and Bob are back at the PnF Rec Center taking a class on floral arrangements. The teacher explained that flowers have a magical way of transforming spaces and moods, whether you’re sprucing up your living room, creating a romantic ambiance, or decorating for an event. She continued by saying that there are different kinds of flower arrangements such as monochromatic, exposed bulb, grand elegance, greenery based, colored baby breaths, functional florals, dried bouquets, asymmetrical to organic shapes and many more! Their teacher commented that fresh flowers are easily accessible and provide an inspiring creative outlet for absolutely anyone. Whether you forage for foliage, buy a few inexpensive bouquets from the grocery store, or grow your own flowers, you can create beautiful, modern flower arrangements. Before they started, she also explained how the vessel or vase you choose will dictate the final look of your arrangement. "Wow" Bob exclaimed! "I had no idea there was so much to this flower arranging". "Neither did I" said Scaredy Cat. Then the two of them get busy on their arrangements while JJ laid on the floor watching them.

This week it's time to have fun with florals! We have so many floral pieces from flowers and vases to accessories and outdoor flowers and floral prints in scenes, walls, and so much more. What kind of florals you decide to use and how is up to you. Maybe its a special blanket, a greenhouse or your outdoor garden? Do your pets have a favorite flower to use when creating art? Or will you create your own bouquets for special occasions? Whatever you decide, we look forward to seeing all your beautiful florals this week.
