Scaredy Cat
Scaredy Cat and Bob decided today would be a lovely day to take JJ on a walk to the local marina to take in some fresh salty air. While the pair was watching the fishing boats come in with the seagulls eagerly dancing around hoping for some fresh fish, Bob asked Scaredy Cat "What do you think is under the sea"? "Hmmm" says Scaredy Cat, there could be so many different things from fish to whales, sharks, shellfish, and plants". Bob responded that there are still a lot of unknown things under the sea that hoomans haven't found yet. "What kinds of things do you suppose they might be?” asks Scaredy Cat. Bob was quick to answer, "There could be shipwrecks that haven't been discovered yet, different species of very deep, dark waters or maybe even King Triton's castle with mermaids"! "Now that would be fun to visit! Or even take the sub down to see the Titanic!" Scaredy excitedly said. "Oooooh maybe we could find the heart of the ocean Rose through off,” said Bob. "Ohh Bob, that was a movie, but this would make a great art challenge for this week. Bob agreed since it's been a while that an underwater theme was being done for the gallery. The pair looked over at JJ, who was barking and jumping at the seagulls (maybe hoping one would drop a fish for her to snack on) and chuckled at her puppy-like antics.

This week should you choose to take on the Under The Sea challenge, we'd like to see what your pets find under the sea! Maybe they go snorkeling and see all kinds of amazing turtles and colorful fish. What if they did find a special kingdom or the "Enchantment Under the Sea" Dance from Back to the Future! What if they found a portal to another unexplored area of the ocean that covers 2/3rds of our planet? Whatever you imagine it to be, it will be. Get your scuba gear, your submarine, your creative thinking caps on and let’s go to the beach and share with everyone what your pets find under the sea. We are excited to see your art in the gallery this week!
