Scaredy Cat and Bob are celebrating the color green this week, along with a few flying green friends. Why green you ask? Scaredy Cat was reading on the internet the other day about how a hooman’s eyes can differentiate more shades of green than any other eye color. Also that green is the rarest eye color. Oh, how he wished he had green eyes after reading that. And not the green with envy kind either. Also, there are more natural shades of green in our world than any other color. Now, one would think Bob wouldn't be interested in green food unless they were sweet. However, he likes eating pistachios, green tacos, drinks, peas and even spinach! After all, Popeye likes his spinach too! There are many different shades of green and it is one of the primary colors. In fact, Scaredy Cat read that there are some different meanings to different shades of greens.

This week we are celebrating all things green. The challenge this week is to create scenes using at least 3 different green items. Other colors are acceptable, but green should be your main focus of your artwork. Hey, did you know green is the national color of Ireland or that George Washington’s favorite color was green?
