scaredy cat hides behind kaida.....he's scared witless. there's this really strange looking thing standing across the room and scaredy cat has no idea what it is or why it's in his house. kaida, as always, has to try to calm her friend down and explain that there's nothing to be afraid of. she explains to her frightened feline companion that what they're looking at is a homemade toy. "that's a toy???" scaredy cat asks in disbelief. kaida goes on to say that sometimes the best things to play with are things you make using your imagination and using the different bits and pieces you have lying about. you can make a toy with string, boxes, old shoes and more!! she tells scaredy cat that he ought to try it himself. he might actually be less afraid if he did. scaredy cat would much rather go in his room and cower under his blanket.

this week we want you to make your own toys!! there are no limits to what you can conjure up using the many wonderful items you can find in the department stores or amongst your own inventory!! use foods. shapes. any deco! you could even use different pets and create something bizarre and unusual!! let's have lots of fun!!
