scaredy cat and kaida are getting into the halloween spirit and are decorating pumpkins today. well.....kaida is decorating a pumpkin. scaredy cat on the other hand - well - he's trying but things aren't going so well for him. his pumpkin is a bit of a mess. he wanted to make his with a cat but all he managed to do was make some shapes that don't quite go well together. he wishes he had better artistic abilities and less chaos.

this week we're starting to gear up for halloween and part of the festivities is decorating pumpkins!! so to get into the groove, we're having a pumpkin decorating contest!! grab a pumpkin (or two) and get out the tools to decorate your gourd (another fancy term for "pumpkin"). will yours be scary? or maybe it will have intricate swirls and other fancy bits! hopefully yours will be a bit more successful than scaredy cat's - if not - that's ok.
