The Adventures of Scaredy Cat
Oh Canada!
After having a wonderful time together on their venture to find Trilliant Island, friends Scaredy Cat and Bob have decided to take a little trip north of the border and visit Canada during their 150th birthday. They chose Canada because they have many friends that live there and they were interested in what they might find. Getting there, they began to explore this vast country, finding surprises at every turn. While they knew that Canada was famous for maple syrup, ice hockey and poutine, they really weren't totally sure of all that Canada was known for. They didn't know how large and diverse the land was - in some places, it was cold and covered in snow almost year round while other areas had beautiful mountains and fields covered in lush greenery mixed in with flowers colored by an artist's palette. And the maple leaves! They too were of many colors that were so vibrant that you could spot them from a great distance! Bob was amazed to see a wolf pup this far north - he didn't know that they lived in Canada! Scaredy Cat, on the other hand, was not amused when a snowy owl, perched in the tree above where he sat, decided to **** on his head. How is he going to enjoy himself now? Relax kitty - water and tissues will clean that up for you. ;)

This week, we ask the question - when you think of Canada, what do you think of? Do you think of beavers and bears and wolves? Do you imagine sitting in a restaurant, eating a big pile of fries, covered in gravy and cheese curds (otherwise known as poutine)? Maybe you think of the northernmost parts of the country where you might be in a place inhabited by polar bears and penguins! Let's not forget Ice Hockey!! There's bound to be at least a few of you that think of how they pronounce certain words and typically will say "Eh?" at the end of a sentence! Tell us what you think of when you think of Canada!!
And for this challenge - you must include at least 1 of the new maple leaf decorations in your art.
