Scaredy Cat is surrounded by a group of purple pet friends in a room that is painted in different shades of purple. Everything around him is purple. Joy, the purple dragonfly, is buzzing around, giving everypet a purple ribbon. Scaredy Cat puts his onto his collar and wears it proudly for his hooman's best friend. Joy explains to the group that purple has many meanings that are linked and related to it. It is the color for national eating disorder awareness, as well as lupus awareness. It's also the color of royalty!! There's many food items that are some shade of purple too - grapes (and grape juice), eggplant, plums and even purple cabbage! Who would have thunk it??? And look at all of our purple friends here in PnF! Let's not forget that many people state that purple is their favorite color (including Scaredy Cat's hooman).
This week's challenge: Use purple! Your art doesn't have to be all purple - just make sure you use something we can see that is purple. Can't get much simpler than that!
