Scaredy Cat has agreed to go on an underwater adventure with Sam the Turtle and is beginning to regret his decision. What was he thinking? Cat's are not exactly fond of getting in the water and not only is he in the water, but he's under water! The reason he's on this adventure is to celebrate not only the apparent success of Power Pets, of which Sam is the Captain of the Power Pets Sports Club, but also to celebrate Turtle Day with Sam. Sam is totally elated that there is a day just for his kind and even more exciting is that his exact species, the Blue Shelled Turtle, is being made adoptable in Pets 'n' Friends as of tonight! Sam exclaims in a loud voice. "It is Turtle day and we come together to rejoice!" He then begins to talk excitedly how they will get hoomans to adopt them. Then, in a hushed voice, he starts to plan a way to take over the Power Pets Sports Club so that only the champion pets can win in their competitions. Scaredy Cat thinks there's trouble ahead. Maybe this adoption thing isn't such a great idea.
This week we rejoice in being able to adopt the Blue Shelled Turtle and celebrate Turtle Day! Will you be adopting one of these turtles to join your other pets? What will you name it? Is it a male or female? And just as important, how will your turtle (and other pets) celebrate Turtle Day? Will there be turtle races (it's happened you know)? Will you visit the local Turtle Sanctuary to learn more about turtles so that you can take proper care of the one you've adopted? Will your turtle hang around with Sam and learn the ways of cheating in Power Pets (ooops....did we just say that?)? I bet they'll totally get into watching that movie series about some teenage turtles that have awesome ninja skills! Let's celebrate these momentous occasions and yell out "Turtle Power!!"
