Scaredy Cat is at Bob's house, having been invited to have lunch and ice cream with his friend. While they're relaxing in the living room after their meal, there was a knock at the door. Bob goes to answer the door and in a moment, he starts to giggle and laugh. "Scaredy Cat! Scaredy Cat!! Look what I found on the front porch!" Bob comes rushing back into the living room with a large box in his hands while loudly repeating himself. "Look Scaredy Cat! There was a box for me!" Scaredy Cat is startled at how loud Bob is (well...he really shouldn't be surprised). He blinks his eyes slowly and looks at the box his blue friend is carrying into the room. Bob asks, "What is in it? Did somepet send me a present? What can it be???" Bob has no idea what is in the box. He doesn't recall placing any online orders, much less ordering from an actual store. It's not his birthday, and it's not Christmas yet. He cannot think of what could be inside this box. Bob is bouncing on his toes in anticipation as he opens the box so they can see what is contained inside of it. He tosses packing cotton onto the floor trying to get at whatever it is inside. Silence fills the air as all the pair can do is stare at it. Popping up slightly is what appears to be a pair of orbs. What is this? What can it be? Both of the pets look at the box in confusion. They can't even begin to fathom what is in the box. To make matters worse, there's no card, note or even a packing slip saying what it is or who sent it or where it came from! This is definitely a total mystery......
Your challenge this week is to tell us what it is inside the box. Have you ever received something and when you looked at it, you couldn't help but scratch the fur or feathers on the top of your head? Was the content of the package indistinguishable and you just couldn't make out what it was? Did you think it could be one thing but that guess wasn't quite what you thought it was? What do you do when you have no idea what is in the box or bag? Is there a note? A packing slip? Anything that can give you some sort of clue of what you're looking at? Is it food? A book? A new toy? Could it be a gift you actually ordered for somepet but what actually arrived was not anything close to what was expected? Maybe it's the items needed to build a new cat tree! Whatever it is, we can't wait to find out what it is that is in that box!!
