Scaredy Cat and Bob have gone to Weston Plaza where they enjoyed a wonderful meal at their favorite Asian restaurant. They feasted on many tasty offerings, including lo mein, stir-fried rice with bits of fish in it and even some sushi (this was Scaredy Cat's favorite). At the end of their meal, they were given these cookies that had a bit of paper sticking out. They learned that these were fortune cookies - where inside were little pieces of paper with a "fortune" on it - some sort of little quote or saying printed on it that doesn't always make much sense, but tend to put a smile on one's face anyway. Bob opens his and it says: "Person who eat fortune cookie get lousy dessert.". Scaredy Cat opens his cookie and the fortune states: "The fortune you seek, is in another cookie". The pair can't help but laugh at the silly sayings from their fortune cookies. It was the best way to end a great time with friends.
Fortune Cookie Day is September 13th so this week it's all about those funny little fortune cookie sayings. Anyone who has ever been to a restaurant serving Chinese food or gotten it for take out/take away has been given one of those funny shaped fortune cookies. And anyone that has gotten a fortune cookie has had their share of those little fortunes that make you shake your head and laugh. What kind of fortunes would your pet find in their cookie?
