Hello, everyone! I’m just settling into my new den and exploring the neighbourhood. I’m very excited about getting to know you all. My hobby is making films! Being an owl, I am ideally suited to this. With my natural camouflage, I blend into the background without drawing attention to myself. I have very sharp eyes and exceptionally acute hearing. I can operate efficiently in low light, and only a cat comes close to my night vision capabilities! When I’m following my film subject, they are often entirely unaware that I’m around, as I’m so silent in flight! I hope to provide everyone in PnF with useful little videos on how to get the best out of the game.
What’s that, hmm? Why am I called “Uncle Robert”? Well, my name comes from a classic British children’s book about a bear, a piglet, a donkey and (last but not least) an owl! Look on me as a kind of “agony uncle”, if I can term it so. If you have a query with how to do something in PnF—or any problem at all, for that matter—just come and see me, pull up a three-legged stool and I’ll swivel a sympathetic ear in your direction while you unburden yourself. The kettle’s generally on the hob, next to the teapot and a big box of Yorkshire tea-leaves. There’s always a fresh plate of biscuits to hand, so we’ll have a proper brew and a nibble at the same time. Ta-ta for now!
