I like to be in the water or mud during the day, because it helps me stay cool in the hot African sun. I’ll come out during the dusk and night so that I can spend a few hours grazing on the grass, my food of choice.
I can weigh close to 3,000 pounds, or even over that. This makes me the third largest land mammal in the world! Because of our size, other animals are less likely to see us as food, which is definitely a good thing for us! In Africa, we are aggressive animals and are not afraid to fight even others of our species. But take us to live in PnF and we promise to be good! |
