Your challenger!

Pavel
The winds blew across the land and carried with them some seeds. The winds ceased, and the seeds fell to the ground and lay there, for a time. One tiny seed found itself buried in some dirt. The dirt was comforting, and the tiny seed was content to wait.

The rains came, gentle and refreshing. The tiny seed awoke and found itself swelling with the moisture, puffing, and pushing—the little seed grew a tiny root.

Now, the seed had a root; and that root would start to nourish the tiny seed. The seed had outgrown the hard shell covering and was able to push its head upward through the dirt. The little seedling knew it had to break through the dirt and reach for the sun. Somewhere out there—the little seedling knew—the sun was shining and would help it to grow more.

Oh, such joy, the little seeding had broken through the earth, and it could now feel the warm sun on its face. The little seedling's roots had grown and dug deeper, and more rain had fallen. The little seedling was filled with happiness and was growing stronger each day.

The little seedling was no longer a seedling—it had grown more leaves and reached further upward—now it was a little plant, full of hope, enjoying each day and each new rainfall. At night the little plant would rest and listen to the sounds of birds and insects and dream of becoming a mature plant.

One morning, the little plant awoke and realized it was able to look down upon the land and see further into the distance. It had grown more leaves, and its stalk was sturdy and strong. The little plant was fully grown. From a tiny seed carried on the wind to a glorious mature plant, the succulent had fulfilled its destiny. Now it would continue to live, enjoying the sun and rain and resting when the winter came.
