Scene 1/25

Once there was a white rabbit named Flora whose ears were as pink as a spring blossom and whose nose was as pink as straw­berry sorbet.

Scene 2/25

She had many friends, large and small, in the forest and strove to make their lives happier in any way she could.

Scene 3/25

She lived in a quaint stone cottage nestled in a small clearing, surround­ed by the gentle whisp­ers of the forest. The path lead­ing to her door was made of crazy pav­ing, a delight­ful mosaic of colour­ful stones that danced under the warm sun.

Scene 4/25

With Easter just around the corner, the forest buzzed with excite­ment. The animals had heard tales of an egg more splen­did than any they had ever seen—a Fabergé-style egg rumour­ed to have magical qualities! Word spread rapidly that who­ever found the egg would be grant­ed a single wish.

Scene 5/25

Flora decided she would host an Easter egg hunt for all her wood­land friends. On the morn­ing before the grand event, Flora donned her favour­ite bonnet. She care­fully paint­ed the eggs donated by local hens, giv­ing each one a dash of elegance.

Scene 6/25

A young fox cub, whose curiosity had been piqued by the whisp­ers of a Fabergé egg, eager­ly offered to help, his tiny paws clutch­ing a basket filled with the colour­ful treasures. A spring chick chirped incessant­ly, bobbing her head with excite­ment as she watched the prep­arations.

Scene 7/25

At sunset, a gentle knock echoed through the cottage. Flora was happy to see Mrs Bear, with a grand­cub in tow. Mrs Bear was carry­ing a basket brim­ming with treats—berries, caramel­­ised nuts, and sweet, sticky honey­comb. The scent of the goodies wafted through the cottage.

Scene 8/25

In the morning, Flora surveyed her handi­­work. The paint­ed eggs were hidden with care, some in the crooks of branches, others buried in the soft grass, and a few tuck­ed behind flowers. A trail of glitter­­ing petals led to the grand prize—the Fabergé-type egg, gleam­­ing like a jewel in the sun­light.

Scene 9/25

She had never made one before, but had done her best and had produc­ed an intricate design in tur­quoise and shell pink. Flora hoped the young pets wouldn't be too dis­­appoint­­ed that there was nothing magic about it!

Scene 10/25

The clearing outside grew crowded as excited pets of all sizes and colours gather­ed. They had heard of Flora's legend­­ary egg hunts and couldn't wait to begin!
It was time for the hunt to start!
"One, two, three—HOP INTO SPRING!" announced Flora.

Scene 11/25

The creatures bolted into action in all directions, the rabbits lead­ing the charge, their long ears flap­ping like sails in the wind. The fox cubs took off with a burst of energy, whilst the spring chicks stumb­led after them, tiny legs mov­ing in a flurry of yellow fluff.

Scene 12/25

Larger animals, such as the bear and the musk ox, lumber­ed along with surpris­ing grace, their eyes scan­ning the ground with the precision of season­ed treasure hunters. The air was filled with laugh­ter and the rust­ling of leaves as the animals dart­ed around the forest.

Scene 13/25

Flora watched with a warm smile, her heart full of joy as she saw the friend­ships that had blossom­ed over the years. A spring chick squealed with delight as it found a pink egg nestled in a bed of daisies, and a fox cub cheered it on.

Scene 14/25

The rabbits competed with good-natured ribbing, their competitive spirits rising with each egg they discover­ed. The bear, ever the gentle giant, offer­ed a help­ing paw to those who had trouble reaching the higher eggs.

Scene 15/25

As the first few eggs were found, the excite­ment grew. The happy animals shared and ex­changed their treasures, the tension of the hunt giving way to the joy of camaraderie.

Scene 16/25

A happy squirrel was the first to locate one of the smaller Fabergé-style eggs, on a little gold stand. The other animals were spurred on to find more!

Scene 17/25

The pets paused for elevenses, and admired the Fabergé eggs discover­ed so far. They assur­ed Flora that they were beauti­ful! Flora took delight and satis­faction in their happi­ness, and remind­ed them that the largest and most ornate of the "Fabergé" eggs was yet to be found.

Scene 18/25

About half an hour later one of the fox cubs picked up the trail of glitter­ing petals and locat­ed the special pink and tur­quoise egg! Calling to the other I s to come and ad­mire it, he reach­ed out his little paws to­wards the prize. It was surprising­ly heavy and his friends hurried to help him, lest he drop it.

Scene 19/25

The other pets gathered round, their chatter becoming a hush­ed murmur. Flora cradled the egg, puzzled. It was some­what larger than she remember­ed having made it, and she could feel warmth seeping through the shell and a faint pulsing sens­ation from within. What was inside it?

Scene 20/25

Flora gently placed the Fabergé egg on a silk cushion on the buttercup-strewn ground. The animals gather­ed around, their whisp­ers a gentle hum of anticipation. The moment was so still that the tick of the cottage clock could be heard. With a deep breath, Flora care­fully undid the clasp on the egg.

Scene 21/25

The egg quivered slightly, and a crack appear­ed along one of the intricate gold lines. The pets leaned in closer, their eyes glued to the grow­ing fissure. The crack grew, reveal­ing a soft, warm light that spilled out like liquid gold. The light grew bright­er, and the air grew warm­er, carry­ing with it the sweet scent of spring blossoms. From within the egg emerged a swirl of light and colour, coalesc­ing into a shimmer­ing butter­fly with wings like stain­ed glass. Its body was a mix of greens and blues, and as it took flight, it left a trail of spark­ling dust in its wake. The butter­fly danced around the clear­ing, touch­ing each animal with a gentle kiss of its wings, fill­ing them with a sense of warmth and wonder. As she alighted on Flora's head, she could feel the essence of spring pulse through her.

Scene 22/25

The butterfly spoke in a whisper-thin voice that carried far. "You have found the true treasure of the season," she said. "Your wish will be granted. What do you desire?" Flora looked around at her friends, their eyes shining with hope and wonder. She thought for a moment, her heart swell­ing with love for the forest and its inhabi­tants. "I wish," she began, "for the end of the winter's chill, and for the warmth of spring to fill our lives with joy and plenty."
The butterfly nodded, her wings flutter­ing. As if on cue, the sun broke through the clouds, casting a warm, golden glow over the clear­ing. The snow linger­­ing in the shadows of the trees began to melt away, reveal­ing the first hints of green grass. Buds swell­ed on the branches, and the sound of water trick­ling grew louder as the ice in the near­by stream began to thaw. A gentle breeze carried the sweet scent of bloom­ing flowers.

Scene 23/25

The butterfly took to the air once more, its wings spread­ing wide, and flutter­ed over the clearing. With each beat, the snow retreat­ed further, reveal­ing a carpet of fresh, vibrant green. The trees stretch­ed their limbs, shak­ing off their winter slumb­er, and buds burst open into a symphony of colour. The animals watch­ed in awe as the world around them trans­formed. The fox cub looked at Flora with ad­miration shining in his eyes. "You've done it," he murmured. "Spring is here."
The butterfly's magic didn't stop there. As it danced through the air, the animals noticed the once-bare branches now sprout­ed leaves and blossoms. The air grew thick with the sweet scent of life reborn, and the sound of chirp­ing birds filled the silence left by the re­treat­ing winter. The rabbits, feel­ing the warmth in their paws, began to hop in circles, their laughter echoing through the trees.

Scene 24/25

Flora watched the transformation with a sense of wonder and satis­faction. She had hoped for a beauti­ful spring, but never had she imagined it would be this magnificent. The Fabergé egg, now empty, glow­ed soft­ly on the cushion, a gentle remind­er of the magic it had brought forth. The bear, ever practical, suggest­ed they share the re­maining treats in cele­bration. The animals gather­ed around the picnic table, feast­ing on the sweet offerings.

Scene 25/25

As they ate and talked, sharing stories of past egg hunts and plans for the new season, Flora couldn't help but feel a pang of sadness. The beauty of the moment was ting­ed with the know­ledge that the egg's magic had been used and could never be recalled. But as she glanced around at the smil­ing faces and heard the laugh­ter of her friends, she knew that the true essence of spring had been found, not in the egg, but in their shared joy and companion­ship.
