Oliver considered this. "Flag of Denmark. White cross on a red field. You know, when I can't sleep, I list in my head all the national flags in the world that use red and white only—there's about twenty of them, you know. Then I go on to blue and white—I'm digressing. I don't know; what's the answer?"
"The Danish flag, the Dannebrog remains the oldest state flag in the world still in use by an independent nation. It has been recognised as in use from 1219," replied Melville.

"Chef was saying last night that the Danish pastry actually originates from Vienna!" remarked Moo. "In the 1840s, some Austrian bakers settled in Denmark and introduced the now well-known and much-loved pastry. For this reason Danish pastry is actually called wienerbrød or 'Viennese bread' in Denmark."

"One reason for the Danes' happiness is the importance of hygge, the Danish way of enjoying quality time with friends and family. It can be many things, such as candle-lit dinners, wine, relaxed nights in. It's hard to explain," said Melville.
"Well, we certainly came across it this time last year in the Huskies, Hijinks and Hygge experience! We had some very cosy chats with all the pets over hot chocolate by the fire every evening in our accommodation!" replied Clarice.

"It sounds a bit strange, but the Black Sun is when, each spring and autumn, hundreds of thousands of starlings gather at the Wadden Sea National Park and create incredible patterns in the sky at dusk!"

"There's a museum in North Jutland devoted to the Good Luck Troll, and tells the story of how Thomas Dam created them back in the 1930s, Melville. I bet that's a story and a half!"

With a rime crusting over the water lapping at the shoreline, the Wadden Sea is the longest continuous stretch of natural wetlands in Europe, this stretch is in Ribe.

The Island of Møn is in the Baltic Sea and is a must-see for any nature lover! Check out this scenic 4-mile route of chalk cliffs about two hours' drive from Copenhagen -- there are amazing views from the top of the cliffs.

Gjógv, Faroe Islands
Gorge, named after a 200-metre sea-filled gorge that travels north to the sea. The village was first mentioned in 1584 but it is thought to have been in existence a lot longer. The Gjógv incline railway is the only operating railway in the Faroe Islands and it was installed to transport goods from boats.

Wood Island, is the northernmost island in the Faroe Islands. It has become a very important bird area for breeding birds, some of which are the Atlantic Puffin, Black-Legged Kittiwakes and Common Guillemots.

Sea And Rock, Faroe Islands
There are no native trees on the Faroe Islands. There is evidence that there may have been some stands of Birch and Hazel before human settlement. There are a few stands of trees that have been planted between 1800 and 1900. This location was also used in the James Bond movie, No Time To Die, and one can see why it was chosen.
