Hello! It is good to see you again. Oh, you don’t remember me? I remember you. It was a warm summer day and you were swimming in the ocean and said hello to me and left a gift of a coconut shell, which was thoughtful of you.

That made me curious to see where you live, so today I am here to tour your city, octopuses sometimes build cities too. I feel a little sad at leaving my home, but since octopuses are usually solitary creatures and always up for a good explore I won’t be unhappy for long.

Come and dance with me. Each of my arms contains a brain, which means I can create the most amazing dance moves. I would have no trouble winning one of those dance contests I have been watching on television.

I am also a master of disguise. I can change my shape and colour and have been known to match the look of other creatures that live close to me. It is a great party trick and useful when something from the deep dark makes me uneasy. I don’t think I will need to use my camouflage abilities here, PnF land is very peaceful.

It has been a busy day. I enjoyed meeting the other pets that live here. PnF land has a lot of heart, and I have three hearts that all feel warm and fuzzy. Excuse me while I go and curl up in my new home. If you see me changing colours while sleeping it could be that I am dreaming. I would like to have a dream about inviting you to where I used to live, though that may have to stay a dream.

Flitting from flower to flower in the soft summer morning sun is a delightful way to start the day. With my energy restored, I like to zoom around in the sun and then rest in the shade on a branch. Finding a small drop of water or a small area of wet mud is always something I am on the lookout for.

I see you admiring the design on my wings. When I get a glimpse of myself in a window, the pattern reminds me of those pretty lights that humans like to set off in the sky to celebrate.

A bug! Where? Did it land on me? Ahhh!

Oh, you are talking about me. Whew! I was worried for a minute there. I am sorry if I bugged you. Hehe! I am pleased to meet you, though we met under some exciting conditions.

I am indeed a bug. I am also cute, well, my family thinks I am. They are always telling me, when I play tricks, not to be so cute.

I promise I won’t land on you—my feet can tickle a bit. One thing I do not like to see is a rolled-up newspaper, though these days, I see less of those, and I know how humans treasure their phones, so I don’t think a phone will be swung with as much vigour as a newspaper.

Rawr! Ahem! I don’t have my rawr yet. I am too young, but I am practicing. Will I breathe fire? That isn't very likely, as I am not a fire-breathing dragon but a cloud-breathing dragon.

When I watch my parents fly over the mountains, they breathe out this lovely purple cloud that encircles the mountaintops and creates an air of mystery. I am told that creating mystery is our prime job as purple dragons. I asked my parents why, and they said that to know everything is boring and that life is more exciting with mystery in it. I can't wait to grow up and make mysteries.
