Hehe, Hoho. It's off to gather some fruit I go.

Hey, hi, top of the morning to you.

Are you here to gather fruit as well? It is going to be a splendid day. Oh, I should introduce myself to you—we have not met, have we?

I am a gnome, a lavender gnome, one of the gnomes that live in this area that gather fruit, blueberries, grapes, plums and purple cabbage. Some gnomes look after animals, some gnomes go mining and gnomes that like to make shoes; we are the gnomes that love to harvest fruit, especially purple fruits and vegetables.

Join me for some fun, and you can eat as you pick the fruit, which is why we like to harvest fruit so much; we gnomes love to eat.

Quack! Quack! A big hello to you. I am a stormy skies duck. Look at the colours of my feathers, and you will agree the name fits. Some of my feathers will remind you of the blue sky when the weather is fine; the white feathers can only be clouds that sometimes roll in, even if the weather is nice. I have feathers of dark blue, the dark blue that occurs when the clouds become heavy with water, and the sky darkens, and you know a storm approaches.

I am not a magical weather duck, I cannot call up a storm, but maybe I am magical in other ways. Let's sit on the river bank together and enjoy the magic of friendship.

A figure flashes past you leaving you slightly stunned and turned around.
“Hey, you.” Says a mysterious black cat wearing high red boots and brandishing a sabre. “Did you see an orange tabby cat wearing a ridiculous hat? He might have passed this way?”
You are still shaken, but you have not seen any such cat.
“If you see him tell him I need to speak with him and don’t follow me.”
The mysterious cat in the high red boots dashes off and is soon lost in the crowds. You take a moment to process what happened.
A cat wearing boots and carrying a sabre is not something you ever thought you would see, and now you are curious.

We meet again, my friend. Did you see me just now? I was chasing that villain over the roofs, alas, he made a getaway, but I will catch up with him.

Have you given any more thought to joining me in my adventures? Yes, it can be strenuous at times, the leaping, the dashing, the running off of high places and hoping you land on your feet. Then there is the swimming—not my favourite part. At the end of the day, when I am successful, it is all worth it.
