Oh, hello! You’d like to know about me? Well, sometimes I get a lil’ sleepy and sometimes I feel awfully shy, but mostly I feel playful, because I’m so happy to be alive! There’s so much to see and so much to do, there’s so many different animals, and well, there’s even you! I’m so curious about everything! Why do daisies taste different than tulips? Why do raindrops tickle when they splash on your nose? Why do I get sad when the butterflies fly away? Will you help me find the answers?

What fun! Diving under the sea, chasing fish, finding a nice ice floe to rest on—which I spend a lot of time doing. Would you like to join me? We can tell each other stories of the biggest fish we ever caught. I even have some fish left over from this morning's catch, which we can snack on.

Whooo-oooo... whooo-oooo... Hallo! Anyone need something haunting? I'm just whoooooo you need to give a bit of atmosphere to your stately ruin or crumbling castle. Despite my terrifying appearance (er, I *am* terrifying, right?), I'm actually very friendly when I'm off duty and like nothing more than a nice game of Scrabble and - naturally - a glass of spirits.

Omnomnomnomnom! Candies and chocolate oh my! I just cannot help myself! I love my treats you see. They bring me happiness and joy. And boy oh boy do I need it. Chaos seems to follow me. I do not understand why. Drive a bus and suddenly everyone is screaming. Try to juggle and everyone is ducking for cover. Chaos I tell you. Chaos! I don’t mean to cause it. I just happen to be a little clumsy. I don’t let it stop me though. I love to try new things, especially new treats. New experiences are great. Hummmm… Bzzzzzzzz… If you are outside cat-napping on the porch and hear what sounds a bit like a bumblebee, have no fear; it’s only a little hummingbird. I’ve just stopped by to have a few sips of the perfectly sweetened sugar-water in the feeder. Thank you for not putting any coloring in it. I prefer it that way; nectar in flowers is clear and it is better for my health to have a natural diet. Due to the rapid beating of my wings I am in constant need of sugar for energy and I have the unique ability to turn nectar into fuel within thirty minutes.
I like my sugar-water to be clear but that doesn’t mean I don’t like color in other places, like my beautiful feathers. My pastel coloring is in beautiful shades of a sunrise, ranging from the golden glow of the sun to the soft pinks in the clouds of a morning sunrise. And I just love the way my feathers look iridescent in the sunlight. My beauty goes much deeper though. I am a very thankful bird and I will remember where your feeder is after my long migratory flight back from Central America. I will stay in your yard all summer and even bring my babies to see you and show them how nice you are.

How do you stop a rhino from charging? Take away his power cord! Ha! Ha! Ha! I bet you thought I was going to say “Credit Card”. Well, that’s true too, I would be lost without my card, I do love to shop. But more than than I love to tell jokes. What’s as big as a rhino but weighs nothing? His shadow! All I need now is a gig at the Comedy Cellar in grand New York City! I can close my eyes and see my name in lights, and hear the thundering applause of my audiences! Oh, wait, that’ mom coming to scold me again for not taking out the garbage… But one more before I do my chores! What do you get if you cross an elephant with a rhino? Eliphino! Get it? LOL! Ok, here’s mom, time to go!

I know, I know, you're supposed to stand for an ovation, but sitting here looking as cute as a button after my comedy set is all I can manage. Did you hear the loud guffaws? Giggles and chuckles? I think I may have really hit my stride!

I am also a master of disguise. I can change my shape and colour and have been known to match the look of other creatures that live close to me. It is a great party trick and useful when something from the deep dark makes me uneasy. I don’t think I will need to use my camouflage abilities here, PnF land is very peaceful.

Hello! It is good to see you again. Oh, you don’t remember me? I remember you. It was a warm summer day and you were swimming in the ocean and said hello to me and left a gift of a coconut shell, which was thoughtful of you.

That made me curious to see where you live, so today I am here to tour your city, octopuses sometimes build cities too. I feel a little sad at leaving my home, but since octopuses are usually solitary creatures and always up for a good explore I won’t be unhappy for long.

It has been a busy day. I enjoyed meeting the other pets that live here. PnF land has a lot of heart, and I have three hearts that all feel warm and fuzzy. Excuse me while I go and curl up in my new home. If you see me changing colours while sleeping it could be that I am dreaming. I would like to have a dream about inviting you to where I used to live, though that may have to stay a dream.

Oh sorry, I almost stepped on you. I love the view from my height and that comes in handy if I need to run away from anything that may find me tasty, though I am so large, not much bothers me and I do have a reputation for being a bit grumpy I think that is just the way my face is.

You are a long way from home. Did you build an igloo? I don’t need to do that. My fur is so thick, and with a layer of thick fat, that even the coldest days don’t bother me, in fact, I need the cold because my guard hairs actually turn the sun's rays into heat, so I can get terribly overheated if it is warm out. You can snuggle up to me if you are feeling cold.

I may be rather boring to look at, and I’m rather sturdy rather than sleek like my horse cousins. But I had the most important job! One night, through the sandy soil and rock strewn road, I carried on my sturdy back, a very pregnant and very weary young woman. It was an honor to tote her along, and her husband was so kind to me and fed me carrots! I sensed somehow that I was helping out someone very special, although you’d never know by looking at them. And ever since then, I have enjoyed my labors of carrying any burden strapped on my back, because on one special night, I was touched by love.

When my home is complete it will be dry inside, I make a clever door under the water, but the part I live in is above the water line.

Wiggle! Wiggle! I see my ‘prey’ in the high grasses! I can sneak up and catch it with my long trunk, I have been taking pouncing lessons from the lion cubs. If I crouch down low enough, no one will ever see me! I love this game of pounce! Somehow though, I never seem to hide quite well enough. My friends always seem to find me! Come join in the fun, it’s just what everypet needs, a little time out to play away the day!

Beyond the rainbow's end lies a cavern where the water flows all shades of the rainbow. Legend says if you listen carefully you can hear the ethereal neighs of a mystical creature not often seen - the Whispers Unicorn. This creature trots lightly, making barely a sound as it traverses the depths of the waterfall-filled caverns, preferring to remain behind the shadows of the mist.

Silently breach the caverns during a full moon and you may witness a spectral scene - a graceful dance, where the water remains undisturbed by the trots of hooves. Listen closely, as their slender movements create their own music carried on the wind of the cavern. Approach too quickly, make a sound, and these unicorns will scatter into the mist. No matter how hard you search, they won't reveal themselves again until the air is still enough to hear their whispers.

Plopping down after a wild night howling at the moon, I need a rest! Since the intense desert heat in the day is far too much to do anything in, it’s much nicer to nap with friends during, the hot heat. So when visitors come by, it’s best to come when the moon is high!

Ah, the day is at an end, and I can finally settle in, stretch out my wings and relax. Hm, is the nature channel showing Feinstein the talking parrot, again? Lucky me. It won’t be long before all my hard work pays off. And, then, it will be my feathers shining in the lights of a dozen reality show t.v. cameras. “Take that, Feinstein.” I’m coming for you world.

Can you hear that? I think it’s mum calling from the den, with all my brothers and sisters nipping about, enjoying the moonlight play time. I look forward to scampering home for the hubble puddle of nap time! A fox, like me, in the desert takes advantage of the cooler evenings and my super keen hearing helps me find all the tasty treats, did you know that jelly beans really are jolly? I can hear them giggling near the sand dunes, along with the green grapes, who crack jokes. What? You don’t believe food chats? Well, when you have bionic hearing like me, you’ll hear it too!

If a bird were a kite, or is it a kite a bird? Either way, it would be me, the streamer-tailed Lilac-Breasted Roller. I’m a beauty, I know; it is what it is. I dip and soar acrobatically over the open woods of the hottest lands in PnF, all while maintaining a brilliant shine on my feathers. It’s a gift, and sometimes how I pay the rent. Hey, birdhouses don’t come cheap. Okay, sure, my voice is unexpected, a little rough and ear-piercing, but when your chommie (that’s South African slang for friend, btw) is half a block a way, you need to be loud.

My Mayla name is Orangutan, which is hooman of the forest, but you can call me a barrel of fun! I’m in for any mischievous fun you might be thinking up. Whoopie cushions? Hand buzzers? Squirting flowers? Pie in the face? Chattering teeth? Exploding gum! Oh my! All my favorites! I have more, so grab my hand and we’ll swing away through the vines, conspiring on how to trick our pawsome friends!

I know my beautiful purple color is the favorite color of many pets, but I so wish you could smell the lilac blooms I am named for. The smell is even more lovely than my color. It feels like a daydream when I breathe in the heavenly fragrance of lilacs as I gallop through the meadow, my luxurious green mane and tail flowing in the breeze. Won't you join me in my reverie? Perhaps we will have a picnic lunch by a gently babbling brook, or maybe even take a relaxing stroll through the verdant countryside and be mesmerized by the birds' songs in the branches. Ariilina had dreamed of exploring PnF-land with legs, just like the foxes she had glimpsed from the water where she lived. After making a deal with Uglita, and leaving a note for her father, King Tri-Pet, Ariilina swam ashore, transforming as the foamy ocean waves receded away from her tail. When she awoke again, Ariilina was jubilant to find that in place of her glimmering tail, she had two legs that would help carry her anywhere she wanted to go in Pnf-land. And, not only that, her once sapphire eyes and hair had transformed, as well, into shades of violet and amethyst. And, this was how she looked, when she first laid eyes on the handsome fox she had once seen from the ocean swells. Their gazes met, and love, immediate and pure, blossomed between them. Offering her his hand, he helped her stand for the first time, and together, they moved off into the countryside, eager to explore.

I am a West Highland White Terrier, but since you are my friend, you can call me Westie. I am a spunky and active little dog, initially bred in the Scottish Highlands to hunt small vermin like my cousin, the Scottie dog. I have a tendency to dig in the yard trying to find where the little blighters are hiding under the ground. Digging is really the only way to get them since I don't have the patience to wait for them to come out of their hidey hole. Please don't get mad at me for doing that; I am just trying to help eliminate all the rodents I can. Sorry moleys, nothing personal, you are just too irresistable. About the only thing you can do is try to distract me. I do love to chase a small ball around the yard! I’m generally pretty easy to train, when I feel like it and if you make it fun.

Another trait of my breed is I get lonely when you leave for work, so please ‘haste ye back’ as quickly as you can. When you get home I would love to go on a long walk with you. Walking every day helps me because I have so much energy! I do need to be on a leash though because I am sometimes frightened at first to meet other pets. Once I get to know them, I'm just fine. I do love socializing, and am a jolly little terrier, but please make sure that any little ones don't pull on my ears or fur because it really hurts and I just might nip.

What to do? What to do? It’s a really tough job being the top golden mole around here. Afterall, my likeness is on the exquisite GM coin. And I am so sought after. I must keep up my top physique for future photo shoots. But what to do? I need a friend to practise and train in my opal tossing. And burring through tunnels all day gets boring. Do you have anything good to eat? Maybe that can become my new sport.
