At the end of the rainbow, it's rumored to hold a pot of gold, but little known to some, is the bright brilliant burst of sunlight that streaks forth from the middle!

The ancient galleon lays safely at anchor, within the sheltered lagoon at Crystal Cove, as the late afternoon electrical storm lashes the sapphire sea and turns its surface milky, with a barrage of lightning bolts and unrelenting rain. The weathered timbers of the old galleon hold fast, and tremble only ever so slightly when the storm unleashes thunderclap after thunderclap, rolling through the air, with a resounding series of booms!

Over the hills and not too far from the town centre sits a well—in a field of flowers and eggs, but not just any well; this appears to be a special well where you can pull up a basket of Easter eggs.

There are many mysteries in PnF land, so though the pets are curious as to how this well came to be, they won’t ask too many questions, as who would not want a magical well that gave you Easter eggs sitting a short walk from where you live?

After your steamy jungle explorations, step through and soak up the rays of a beautiful sunshine bathed respite. Behind these mammoth leaves awaits the stuff of fantasies, a rainforest clearing, perfect for picnicking, splashing, and perfect picture taking utilizing a gorgeous, roaring waterfall as your dream backdrop.

A cluster of vivid red and yellow marigolds catches the eye of a Monarch butterfly on his marathon flight. Weary from pushing his delicate wings to new limits, he swerves off course for a quick refreshing pit stop. In the air again, fueled with marigold nectar, the young butterfly continues his race, with many kilometers still to fly.

This party has been in the planning stage for quite a while, and now the invitations are being written and included with each is a small mask. Yes, this will be a masquerade party. What fun awaits? Do you have your costume ready?

The Amethyst Nebula is located far across the galaxy, where it can only be viewed by telescope. Pets viewing the nebula often witness the colours pulsate.

A discarded masquerade mask sits amongst streamers. It sure was a fun party. The costumes were brilliant. Some pets were able to guess who was behind the masks. Other pets remained mystified until the end of the evening.

It is the perfect day for adventures outside in the snow. Did you bring your skis? Are you dressed warmly with your ears covered? Mittens both accounted for? If you are ready, let’s head to the ski lift.

Wow! There are so many chairs we won’t have to wait long, and we will be standing at the top of the ski hill, ready to swoosh down. I can’t wait.

The canopy layer, a nearly continuous cover of treetops, contains the densest areas of bio diversity. The same types of animals live here as in the emergent layer, but in greater quantities and varieties. Also, one fourth of all known insect species and one half of all plant species live in the canopy. The understory layer is where birds, lizards, snakes and large cats live. The plant leaves are often quite large and there are many seedlings that will eventually become part of the canopy. This part of the rainforest only receives about 5% exposure to the sunlight. The forest floor is nearly devoid of vegetation due to the low light available. Any decaying plant or animal matter disappears quickly due to the warm, humid conditions and the existence of fungi which helps in the process.

It's time to decorate the tree. The scent of pine permeates the air. All the boxes of decorations have been brought down from the attic and the hot cocoa is warmed and ready. Put your Christmas music playlist on and you are all ready! The first thing to put on the tree are the lights. You need to plug them in to check and see if any lights don't light and need to be replaced. Every one takes turns placing their favorite ornaments on the branches until the tree is full of family treasures and memories. Once the topper is on it's time to turn on the lights!

In the deepest depths of a very dark ocean, never penetrated by the sun’s light or warmth, something lives. And it lurks…waiting… We don’t know what it is. Or what it waits for. The only evidence of its very existence, a multitude of tiny green bubbles, suspended in the dark waters, never quite making it to the distant surface…

Lay back and relax, or spend the day at play, there is no wrong way to enjoy, your perfect day away. Heed the ocean’s siren call, come frolic in the sea. At the front of the house, where the light is brightest, nestles Busy Bee’s Sewing Room, resplendent with the smell of freshly laundered fabric and sunshine! The gentle purr of a sewing machine quietly competes with the sound of piped music and the room’s occupant, who softly sings along, slightly off key and completely out of time with the other sounds in the room...
While the sewing desk is a picture of organisation, all of the other surfaces in the room are littered with brightly coloured quilting squares, in various stages of assembly, and their creator smiles proudly to herself, visualising how wonderful her completed quilt is going to look!

The only certainty in the PnF Universe is that the skies are constantly shifting and changing. Over millions of pet years, stars, planets and moons are all slowly but inexorably being drawn into stellar vortexes, black holes or wormholes, disappearing from one section of the PnF Universe and reappearing in an entirely different section. Leaving behind nebular clouds of interstellar gas and dust residue, as the only evidence of their departure, and an empty area on the Deep Space Distant scene which PnF artists can populate with their own galaxies and space phenomena…

A gingerbread sidewalk with sweet icing snow drifts makes a delicious-looking scene. This is the perfect background for making gingerbread art slides. Will you be tempted to get a plate of gingerbread cookies to nibble on while you create?

Did you remember the sunscreen? Oh! I lost my sandal, hang on. Did we bring enough snacks? The lounger looks like it needs more air in it.

The water looks calm, and the sand is so golden and soft. We found the perfect spot to set up our umbrella and cooler. I want to relax here all day. This looks like the perfect field to start planting your spring seeds. What will you and your pets plant? Will it be corn or oats? Maybe you want to plant the field with grasses to feed a herd of cows. Yum, milk, ice cream, and cheese. You could plant nothing but flowers and let the wonderful colours and scents delight you all summer long. You could leave it unplanted and just run around flying your kite. The possibilities are endless when you are presented with such a wonderful open space.

If you and your pets take a walk into the forest outside of town, you will notice little clusters of happy mushrooms under each tree, and you will notice something else. Fairies, more fairies than you may be used to seeing.

There is no snow yet in the Fairy Forest, so before the snow falls, the fairies are busy visiting each other and deciding what magical spells they will use to decorate the trees in the forest this year.

It is such a beautiful forest my pets can't wait to see what it will look like when the fairies are finished decorating.

Pork Avenue was a happy street, a street full of colourful skyscrapers, favoured by pets from all paws of life, but most particularly favoured by entrepreneurial pigs, because Pork Avenue was the economic epicentre of New Pork City!
