Just as there are no two pets exactly the same, each snowflake is different from the one next to it.

The little footprints the pets leave in the snow as they trudge up the mountain slopes and across the arid valleys between the peaks are quickly swept away by icy katabatic winds, that swirl in a polar vortex, sweeping through the valleys and across the plains, creating wave-like patterns in the snow, obliterating any sign of the pets’ passing…
