Samantha took over from her father, Sam the Turtle, on June 10th 2021. She had only recently become aware of her true parentage, but was her father's daugher in every way. Since she was old enough to hold a pair of binoculars, she had been watching Power Pets from the Sky Trolls' cloud, where she lived with her mother, a goose. When Sam met her, he chose to retire and hand his job on to the next generation.

Samantha's first move was to introduce the Event Trophies. Her second was to announce the PnF Games 2021! She has made a really fast start as leader of the Power Pets Sports Club; we can only guess what she will be doing next!

Her father, Sam, was once the biggest cheat in the history of sport, seeking to dominate all competitions between pets through his creation, the Power Pets Sports Club. Recruiting the worst cheats he could find, he was able to dominate sports events, making him successful. But when his cheating made the club unmarketable, the Running Dog capitalists who had funded him withdrew.

With his champions, led by Piàn xióngmāo, already in rebellion over roles they had come to hate, Sam was desperate. It was then that a seemingly chance encounter with his old adversary the Mouse in Trousers changed everything.

For the first time the MIT saw Sam in trouble. Behind his shell, Sam was lonely, sad and friendless. The MIT realised Sam had never had a friend in his life and had no idea what it was like to be cared about. The MIT chose to mortgage his luxurious mouse hole to fund a new dream for Sam; a Center of Excellence, devoted to the highest ideals of sport.

Sam was astonished. He had never known kindness and had spent his long life relying on his shell to protect him from the scorn he expected everyone to feel for him. Suddenly Sam was popular, and to his astonishment he found that winning friends was much more satisfying than winning competitions. So he created a program celebrating the excellence of other pets, identifying the talented, helping them to achieve their potential and affirming it with a series of trophies for all who achieve the highest ideals in their chosen sport.

The MIT now has a hole in his pocket instead of a hole in the Hamptons, but he considers the Salvation of Sam to be the best investment he has ever made.
