Look at my feathers, aren't they neat? All the other birds are jealous. And why wouldn't they be? Not only are they soft, they're luxurious and beautifully coloured. But enough about my feathers, I'm sure you're not here just because I'm a pretty face.

I have some very tedious cleaning habits to keep looking my best - you should see my spa bill! Mud baths, cucumber masks (if I don't eat them!) and talon cures. I go only to the best spas around, all the employees know my name. I always bring a good book with me, nothing is more relaxing than reading while soaking my feathers! It provides me with the perfect time to get ahead so I am always ready for my book club on the weekends. I hear we're reading "Of Pets and Friends" next!

You can put me in a little bamboo habitat and listen to me hit the notes of my favorite ballad or visit me in the meadows and grassy plains, with the rest of my family. I am considered to be a lucky charm in some cultures; I am cherished for my singing ability, along with being a sign of good health, longevity and wealth. I have been emulated in golden jewelry in ancient society as a status symbol, but I have never let that change my humble demeanor

I am the tallest living terrestrial animal. I live in Africa, and I love to run on the savannah. I am so fleet of foot that I just seem to glide along. So the Artists thought that I could get up enough speed to take off, and they made me these cute little wings to stay airborne!

Now I can chat with the birds and play in the clouds!

It's the middle of spring! Where did this frost come from? My gorgeous green petals have been frosted over! Although...no other flower around has this look... I wonder if there's a way I can keep this look permanently without leaving me shivering?

They say I’m a little nut, but I’m only just a little silly. I don’t know my left from my right, but I usually get where I’m going. Just keep spinning, turning, rising, falling, sailing along. Happy is the moth who…oh, a kite, I love kites..ahem, back to what I was saying. Now, where was I going with that? Oh, that’s right, friends! I get by with a little help from my friends. Don’t we all?

Want to play my favourite game? It's easy! Just close your eyes and count to ten... Oh, no time right now? That's okay, we can play another time. You can always find me swimming about the seaweed - they are my favourite hiding place (but don't tell anyone!) When I'm not playing in the kelp I enjoy swimming back and forth as the water flows along the shore, especially exploring the low tides - you just never know what the tide will bring in!

What fun!

Red Fire Monkey is associated with wit, intelligence, and imagination. He is also reputed to have a magnetic personality. All true, but he especially loves to laugh and bring joy and laughter to others. Red Fire Monkey primarily uses his razor-sharp wit and creative mind for humour. He has worked as a stand-up comedian, satirical cartoonist, and circus clown; but his favorite form of humour is pranks. A clever trickster, Red Fire Monkey likes to fool people and help them laugh at life and at themselves.

Signature Red Fire Monkey pranks are mixing up sounds, camouflaging familiar possessions, and gluing money to pavement. As a skilled ventriloquist, he can bewilder people by making birds bark, babies snore, dogs meow, and cars sing opera. People are also confounded when their cars or bicycles are transformed into bushes or garbage dumpsters. Watching crowds of people try to pick glued coins is sheer joy. All that java has made this bunny ready to race! Not a tortoise to be found anywhere, either! I guess I'll just hop around the park, you shout "GO!" And when I cross the finish line first, we can get another cup o' joe, right? No? Too much caffeine? Well, ok, but right now, this bunny's got to bound!

Did you know that we flounders can change our colours to camouflage ourselves when lying right on the bottom of the ocean floor? How cool is that? Can you spot me blending into my environment? I bet you don’t have such a splendid way to hide from your enemies! Another fun fact is that we have both eyes on one side of our head, so we can peek out of our hiding place while lying on one side. It’s very handy for reading in bed! Just don’t give me one of those awful punning names like British fish ‘n’ chip shops do, like the Happy Sole or the Plaice to Be ...

It’s that season again, the season of love. You know what that means. The love bugs are out! They’re quite small, you know, but their bite can pack a punch. It comes out of nowhere … and just … like … that … you’re twitterpated, spun around, upside down, IN love. Oh yes, love, sweet love, is in the air. Could you be next?

I'm a little baby giraffe who's not tall enough yet to eat the leaves from big trees. So that's why I'm eating your privet hedge. You don't mind, do you?

Meow. I mean, ROAR! I mean - oh I don't know what I mean! I'm the largest of cat species and recognized everywhere by black stripes on my reddish-brown fur. I'm quite talented and have learned all sorts of tricks that humans have made me perform in circuses...but I really don't like performing. I much prefer to spend my time bathing in a river, or stalking my dinner.

I may be adorable (yes, I know I AM adorable!) but I'm not the cuddly kitten you might be looking for. My paws are huge and I wouldn't want to accidentally hurt you...so admire me from afar!

The Nile Crocodile symbolized royal power, fertility, fear and protection to the Egyptians. Considered the fastest crocodile in the world at speeds of 35 kilometres per hour, 19 to 22 mph. Quick, make friends with this interesting creature. Oh look, the crocodile is smiling.

Rawr! Ahem! I don’t have my rawr yet. I am too young, but I am practicing. Will I breathe fire? That isn't very likely, as I am not a fire-breathing dragon but a cloud-breathing dragon.

When I watch my parents fly over the mountains, they breathe out this lovely purple cloud that encircles the mountaintops and creates an air of mystery. I am told that creating mystery is our prime job as purple dragons. I asked my parents why, and they said that to know everything is boring and that life is more exciting with mystery in it. I can't wait to grow up and make mysteries.

I like to be in the water or mud during the day, because it helps me stay cool in the hot African sun. I’ll come out during the dusk and night so that I can spend a few hours grazing on the grass, my food of choice.

I can weigh close to 3,000 pounds, or even over that. This makes me the third largest land mammal in the world! Because of our size, other animals are less likely to see us as food, which is definitely a good thing for us! In Africa, we are aggressive animals and are not afraid to fight even others of our species. But take us to live in PnF and we promise to be good!
