 | | Can you hear that? I think it’s mum calling from the den, with all my brothers and sisters nipping about, enjoying the moonlight play time. I look forward to scampering home for the hubble puddle of nap time! A fox, like me, in the desert takes advantage of the cooler evenings and my super keen hearing helps me find all the tasty treats, did you know that jelly beans really are jolly? I can hear them giggling near the sand dunes, along with the green grapes, who crack jokes. What? You don’t believe food chats? Well, when you have bionic hearing like me, you’ll hear it too!
Plopping down after a wild night howling at the moon, I need a rest! Since the intense desert heat in the day is far too much to do anything in, it’s much nicer to nap with friends during, the hot heat. So when visitors come by, it’s best to come when the moon is high!
Wander off just a little too far from the den, and who gets in trouble? Me. Yeah, I know I shouldn’t have followed that flutterbye so faraway, but it was so much fun, so here I am now, sitting in the time out chair mum put me in. Ah well, only another 15 minutes more! |
