| | These creatures stay hidden most of the year, Until times of laughter and joy do appear. Dashing along the ground to gatherings, Bringing along many glad tidings. Covered in festive colours of cheer, All will know they are not to fear. 'Where did they come from?' many will ring, Though worries vanish with the songs they sing. They share games and stories as others come near, And keep close the memories we all hold dear. All share dances as bells ring ding-a-ling, Caught in the merriment Cheerlings do bring.
