Don't mind me, just practicing my singing voice. Everyone loves a good melody, and we crows are no different - our quintets can be a deadly murder. Aha! I kid, I kid! A murder is a group of crows, got you, didn't I?
We crows are very intelligent, my friends and I communicate in a different dialect (so-to-squawk) than the crows you may know. Once we trust you we also name you, as you name us. Names can be important, as can faces. We remember your face, the faces of others, and we pass that along. Soon our whole murder knows if you are friend or foe, and our children and grandchildren will, too.
Now excuse me while I have a lovely sun bath. My, oh my, what a wonderful day! |
