Even though the Fjord Horse is originally from the mountainous regions of Norway, I am happy anywhere. All I need is a warm place to sleep, a sunlit meadow to run in, and plenty of love and yummy food. Despite my smaller stature, I am very strong and hard-working. Sometimes people mistake me for a pony, but I am definitely all horse and able to do everything my bigger cousins can do. Do you need me to do farm work? No problem! If you are looking for a good-tempered horse to ride, just saddle me up and let's go! Whether you prefer a slow trot or a robust gallop, it doesn't matter; I love them all!
